The new shop and facility is built east of Edna, Texas on highway 111.

Kresta's Boats and Motors was founded.

Kresta's Boats and Motors was founded in December 1968 in a small shop in downtown Edna by Bill and Maxine Kresta. At that time they carried flat bottom aluminum boats and Johnson outboards.
